The present study was accomplished with the purpose of predicting academic achievement based on intelligence beliefs, achievement goals and academic emotions in a causal framework through path analysis. To do this, 231 postgraduate students from Fars Payame Noor University were chosen via simple random sampling and answered to a self-report questionnaire consisted of intelligence beliefs (Dupeyrat & Marine, 2005), achievement goals (Middleton & Midgley, 1997), and academic emotions (Pekrun et al. 2005). The students’ GPA was considered as indicator of academic achievement. The results demonstrated the indirect and different effect of entity and incremental intelligence beliefs on academic achievement. The findings showed that incremental intelligence belief has indirect positive effect on academic achievement through the mediation of mastery goals and positive emotions. Moreover, the entity intelligence belief has indirect negative effect on academic achievement through the mediation of avoidance -performance and approach -performance goals and negative emotions. Also, based on the results, the direct effect of entity intelligence belief on negative emotions was significant; however, the direct effect of incremental intelligence belief on positive emotions was not confirmed.

The present study was aimed at the investigation of the process of e-learning studies in Iran, adopting a meta-analytic approach. The recent decade observed a significant growth in studies on e-learning. In addition to the studies applied to national and international conferences held in Iran, numerous papers on this discipline are being annually published in credible journals. Now, the question to be answered is what is the process of these studies undergo in terms of subject, method, the year published, scientific area, and the studied university? Do these features alter depending on the researcher’s field of study (humanities, engineering, and medical sciences)? Considering the objective, meta-analysis was adopted for this study. The population included all the papers published in journals or indexed on the websites ‘magiran’, ‘sid’, and ‘noormags’ (237 items). Papers presented at conferences were not investigated in this study. The papers were categorized and coded by title, method, statistical population, sampling method, the researcher’s university, the researcher’s field of study, publication, and the year published. The codes were then entered into SPSS to be analyzed in terms of the research questions. Consequently, with regard to the findings, some suggestions were proposed.

Presenting an exact and comprehensive definition of the quality of teaching and learning is not possible because the quality of a general theory or a general pattern is not accessible. For this reason, achieving a consensus on the characteristics of quality is hard. Therefore, it is better to place the emphasis on the quality, rather than on specific definition. This study aims to investigate the factors affecting the quality of teaching and learning from the viewpoints of faculty members of Fars Payame Noor University and Shiraz University of medical sciences. The research method is correlation. The statistical population of this research includes all the members of Fars Payame Noor University and University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz, Fars, and the data were assessed by the tests of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. The Seven factors explain 64.152 percent of the total variance in the quality of teaching and learning, and the questions loadings lower than 0/45 was excluded. The model chi-square and degrees of freedom are 306.859 and 226 and the P-value is greater than 0.05 which represent a good fit of the model. Of the ten factors, three factors were excluded and seven factors of the followings were involved: information and research, evaluation, planning, quality, university support, training, customer equipment and other components using the indexes of seven questions in the quality of education and learning.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between perfectionism and creativity among high school student in Shiraz. Participants consisted of 354 high school students (boys 168 and girls 186). Those are selected by multistage cluster sampling in Shiraz city. Two scales were used: Try-short perfectionism scale that has two subscales included positive perfectionism and negative perfectionism. In addition, students completed Abedi Creativity questionnaire. The reliability of the measures verified by Chronbach alpha method and validity of those were confirmed through internal consistency. Data were analyzed via Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regressions and analysis of variance. The results of multiple regressions showed that negative perfectionism negatively and positive perfectionism positively related to creativity among all students and girls group. while for boys students only negative perfectionism can predict creativity negatively. The findings of the study on the one hand provide good evidence on the effect perfectionism on creativity and other hand revealed that negative perfectionism related to creativity negatively while positive perfectionism related to creativity positively. so we should discourage negative competitive among students.

The population is faculty members in humanities in the universities of Urmia city that based on random sample, 130 people were selected as the sample. The data collection tool was a questionnaire that its validity and reliability of the experts were calculated by Cronbach's alpha (87/0). The data using statistical indicators, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test scores were analyzed by analysi (Current, minimum and maximum utility utility), that the status quo of optimal management (Between a minimum of 36 out of the-54 and the most desirable -64a gap there), administrative regulations (Between a minimum of 53 out of the 25 - and the most desirable 47 - a gap there), empowering the individual (Between a minimum of 52 out of the 42 - and the most desirable 48 - a gap there), social economic (Between a minimum of 50 out of the 32 - and the most desirable 50 - a gap there), and facilities humanities (The status quo out of 40 with minimum 42 - maximum 60 good - there are gaps) research study is significant.
